Same Treatment — Very Different Result: Broodless Oxalic Acid

Reviewed notes and corrections

The relevant distinction is mite exposure. Mites protected under capped brood are not reached in the same way as exposed mites during oxalic-acid vaporization. Broodlessness can improve access, but does not guarantee one universal efficacy percentage. Follow the specific registered product’s approved method and timing, then measure the colony’s response.
